We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and hands-on individuals to join our team as Commissioning & Water Treatment Assistants. This is an ideal opportunity for those looking to start a career in the building services or engineering sector. Full training will be provided, with the chance to progress into specialist roles in HVAC Commissioning or Water Treatment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support senior engineers in the commissioning of mechanical HVAC systems / water treatment tasks.
- Assist with the flushing and cleaning of closed water systems and domestic water services in accordance with BSRIA and British Standards.
- Help carry out water sampling, chlorination, and basic plant inspections.
- Record readings, take water samples, and complete site documentation under supervision.
- Follow instructions to safely handle tools, equipment, and treatment chemicals.
- Learn to read drawings and understand HVAC and water system layouts.
- Work on a variety of commercial and healthcare sites across the UK.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional working environment at all times.
What We’re Looking For
- A keen interest in engineering, building services, or hands-on technical work.
- Good attitude, willingness to learn, and the ability to follow instructions.
- Basic understanding of health and safety principles.
- Strong work ethic and a team player mindset.
- Full UK driving licence is desirable but not essential at entry level.
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and Science are beneficial.
